Algarve Rotas is an eco-tourism company that offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about the cultural heritage of Portugal.

In this route dedicated to one of the oldest construction materials used by mankind, we’ll take you on a guided tour to a traditional Brick Factory where typically Algarvian bricks, tiles and shingles are manually produced.
After the factory visit, we’ll take a pedestrian route through the Mealhas Valley that divides two geological areas where we’ll explore and learn about geology, production and extraction of clay.

Aditional options:
– Workshop – Visit the traditional pottery artisan where you can make two ceramic pieces.
